Baytech Supports Salvation Army:

Baytech Plastics donated in excess of 2000 pounds of food to the Midland Salvation Army to assist with annual food drive. The original target was to raise 800 pounds through a 5 team competition. To inspire and motivate the teams it was determined some sort of prize was to be in order, head shaving of some fellow employees. The team with most food by weight raised was given the distinctive honour of shaving the heads of a few very brave volunteers.

Congratulations to all that participated and thanks to the volunteers for supporting the local Salvation Army.

Facility Renovation Completed:

In the history of Baytech Plastics, 2010 will be remembered not only as a year in which the company weathered an economic storm, but a literal storm in the form of a tornado.

On June 23rd at approximately 6:30pm this uninvited visitor to our region swept through a section of Midland, and Baytech’s Heritage plant was in its destructive path.

However, despite the turmoil and inconveniences caused by the tornado, there was an upside. The doors were rearranged for a better layout and an extra dock lift was installed. The front wall has been restored. The end result has been that with a three million dollar renovation, the Heritage plant looks better than ever. For full story click here
