4 Value-Added Services Available as Part of Baytech’s Injection Molding Solutions in Ontario

Baytech Plastics has been providing injection molding solutions in Ontario since 1946. Since our beginnings, we have always challenged ourselves to stay ahead of the times, investing in new technologies and processes along the way to meet our customers’ changing needs. Our investment has paid off many times over. Today we have two production facilities that house more than 30 injection molding machines, ranging from 40 to 2600 tons capacity. We are able to produce injection-molded parts and components using a variety of modern methods and materials.

Our capabilities don’t end with production. An enormous part of our success is due to the additional services we offer, which are all supported by our partnership approach to customer service. These additional value-added services streamline the manufacturing process for our customers and help eliminate bottlenecks in the design and production process. The end results include faster turnaround times and top-quality injection molded solutions across a range of industries.

In this post, we want to take a look at four of our most popular value-added services.

4 Baytech Services That Help Ensure Project Success

Baytech Plastics is committed to providing the best injection molding solutions in Ontario. One of the ways we do that is by providing services that support the client at every stage for a streamlined, no-hassle project.

  1. Baytech engineers work closely with our customers’ own internal teams to design products, parts, and components that meet customer needs while also ensuring the products can be manufactured efficiently. By involving our engineers in the process early on, we can make sure a product will stand up to the manufacturing process, be safe and durable, and can even help you choose the best materials for your injection molded product. We work with internal design teams as well as businesses that don’t have designers on staff, fulfilling that need for them.
  2. Tooling is one of the most critical parts of the injection molding process. Tool design affects the manufacturing techniques and materials used and impacts the quality of the final product. We are able to do all tooling in-house. This ensures your molds will stand up to the rigors of production, producing quality parts over hundreds of millions of cycles.
  3. Quality Control. What good is producing injection molded products without strict quality control measures? Baytech Plastics meets ISO 9000 compliance standards and maintains our own internal quality controls and testing, including prototyping, to ensure total customer satisfaction. We have earned the repeat business of hundreds of customers thanks in part to our dedication to quality products and service.
  4. Secondary Operations. In many cases, an injection molded product is not finished as soon as it comes off the line. That’s where secondary operations come into play. We offer services that include ultrasonic welding, heat stake and chemical bonding processes, hot stamping, pad printing, silk screening, painting, anti-static spray coating, and EMI/RFI shielding to finish products. We can even handle assembly, warehousing, and logistics to further assist our customers with getting products to market.
